Ordering
To ensure we give every cake our full love and attention we work on a limited number of cakes per week. With that in mind we recommend you book your date with us as soon as possible, preferably 3-9 months in advance. Depending on our schedule, however, we will always try to accommodate bookings with shorter notice.
Our minimum order is $800.
Tastings
We offer cake tastings, by appointment only, in our Wheaton studio. You’ll have an opportunity to sample our cakes, and decide on your favorites. Then we’ll discuss more about what you’re planning, look through pictures, and find inspiration for the cake design. Feel free to bring along images, style boards, and anything else that may inspire us to create your quintessential cake. Tastings are $30 per person, however we will deduct that cost from the price of your cake, up to $60.
Flavors
Before your tasting, we’ll send our full menu of cakes and fillings, so you can choose which flavors you’d like to sample at your tasting. You can also view our menu here.
Pricing
Our cakes are priced based on the number of servings and the intricacy of the design. Pricing starts at $9 per serving for a minimal design and goes up accordingly depending on design. We will always work with you to create a design that works for your style and your budget.
Delivery
Due to the delicate nature of the sugar craft on our cakes, we personally deliver and set up wedding cakes and larger celebration cakes at your venue. We will liaise directly with the wedding coordinator at your venue to arrange this so it’s one less thing for you to think about! The cost of delivery and set up will be included in your cake quote.
Smaller celebration cakes are available for collection from our studio in Wheaton. Delivery can be arranged for an additional charge. We don’t recommend pick up of larger cakes as they are delicate to transport.
Payment
A non-refundable retainer is payable at the time of booking to confirm your order and reserve space on our calendar. The remaining balance is required 4 weeks prior to your event date. We will send an email reminder as we know your schedule is likely to be busy!
